Justice
Mobile legal aid, GBV survivor support, disability rights and action against discrimination.
Why this matters
UNICEF reports that 42% of Malawian women have experienced intimate partner physical violence, well above the global average of 27%. One in five girls is sexually abused before the age of 18.
Our goal
To ensure survivors and marginalised youth in Malawi have real, accessible pathways to justice, not just rights that exist on paper.
What we do
Survivor-centred response to GBV and technology-facilitated GBV
Youth policy and governance advocacy submissions
Community education on rights
Referral coordination with legal and protection services
Mobile legal aid clinics, disability rights advocacy and anti-discrimination campaigns
Intended outcomes
Survivors get timely, dignified support
Youth policy positions reach decision-makers
Stronger links between communities and formal justice systems
How we measure progress
Number of GBV/TFGBV cases supported; number of policy submissions made; number of active referral partnerships.
